Copied from my posts from TB. And shortened down a tad bit. Things may be a little out of order

Welcome to my build thread.
A little bit of Background information:
My name is Will, I’m 21, and I’m a Volvo addict.
My first Volvo was a 2000 V70XC. (I still have it)
I’m a student at the University Of Northwestern Ohio going for
Automotive / High Performance, And I only have a little while longer
until graduation.

I bought my second Volvo, This 1992 Volvo 245 off a family friend for
$300. When I bought it, She had 282,881 Miles on it, and it was on it’s
second Blown engine.
Rather than Give up on it, I picked up a used 93’ B230F Short block,
cleaned it up and painted it, threw new gaskets at it, and Set her down
in there. As of now, I’m currently replacing the worn out and grinding
AW70 with an M47. I’m also in the process of building another
B230+4F+T In engines class, But money will dictate how far I can go
with that right now. I do plan on having it done though.

As of now, The car is sitting beside my dad’s garage back in New York,
awaiting the M47. I’m in Ohio right now, but It will soon be out in Ohio.
I’ve been repairing all the small rot holes along the way. It’s only real
bad in the back and a spot on the passenger side floorboard.
I've filled the trim holes down the side of the car,(On the drivers side so far..)
I hadn't bothered with the front fenders as it's getting a full -86 front end transplant.

I plan on drifting with the car, but not heavily, just for fun, Not really
interested in Competition, I know the M47 is weaksauce, But If it lasts
me the season I’d be more than happy. I’m hoping to do a T5 swap
sooner than later. It shouldn’t fair too bad with a stock N/A 8V….

Sorry for the large picture. I can’t resize it due to my ancient Macintosh

And here’s the progress of my 16V. So far everything has been cleaned
up, Cylinder head looks amazing, I’ve done a little port work just
cleaning up the casting flash, I’m using Ford Aluminator Valve springs,
But If anyone can tell me the trick on how to use them It would be  13MM Rods have been shot peened, Cams and crank have been micro
polished, I may have a lead into getting a set of MAHLE 60mm Over
B234F pistons,  If I can get them, Then I’ll be able to balance my bottom
end before putting it together!!!

Mock up.

Micro polished the Crank

Reconditioned the 13mm Con Rods
Had them shot peened, and used new Clevite
Bearings. If you need the part numbers let me know
Clevite is so much better than those cruddy Glyco's

Cut the end off the intake manifold.
Good, Now I need to weld it back up....

Intake side has the 4.6L Beehive Valve springs.
Awesome fit, like it was supposed to be!

All together for now. Class ends tomorrow, so I'm stuck with
what I have for now.

Sorry for the HUGE!!!!! Pictures, taken with my dads phone ad I have no way to resize them....
16V pistons arrived in New York today. Can't wait to get home to put them in the block!

Mini update. I acquired a quad headlight core support, So That swap is going to happen next time I'm home, or after I it back to Ohio.
