So in this thread I will be documenting my use of Plastidip on my car. My paint was doing pretty bad and I need to redo it. I decided to put that off I would try to Plastdip my car. I did my girlfriends car to practice not too long ago. You can see pics of that here: http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/topic/162459-my-1st-attempt-at-plastidip-gunmetal-grey-w-gold-pearl-2006-sentra-se-r-spec-v/

I learned a few things with that and I will be doing my car with 3 gallons of paint. 1 Black, 1 Matte Clear and 1 Glossifier

First layers will be done with black plastidip. Then I will mix both the Matte clear and Glossifier together with the Pearl powders for the final coat.

My pearl powders were purchased from TKBtrading here: http://www.tkbtrading.com/category.php?category_id=12&page=g

It is actually make up powder and you can get almost any color in existence.

I have been doing a fair amount of work to get it to this point, but here it is when I pulled it in, Just after installing the rear window spoiler I got from the Owned group buy.
