Recently went to a small boat basin/dock for a photo shoot, the parking lot there is pretty sizeable and would be ideal for a car meet (public area, anyone can use it, people go there to sit in their cars and read the paper etc etc.) No one would have to park even close to the water.
Place is the Meadow Road Boat Basin. Meadow Road, Edison NJ.
