I've been throwing this idea for a while, but I'm not sure what the level of interest there currently is. Consider this a feeler to gauge the interest.
I would like to offer a tuning service that would include re-tunes based on driving logs until the car was running to its full potential, how ever many revisions that may take.
The price for just tuning would be $150 for near stock setups and $250 for anything 'highly' modified (injectors, MAF, larger turbo).
The price for tuning would not include any hardware. The price breakdown:
- VAG-COM cable - $20
- Cable for flashing ECU - $30
- Boost sensor addition to ECU - $30
- M4.3 to M4.4 A/C friendly conversion - $40
- M4.4 ECU - $50 (if you don't already have one)
The VAG-COM cable and flashing cable would be returnable after tuning so you can think of the $50 spent on them as a down payment.
I will not tune any car above the stock level without a wideband or a ECU boost sensor! Sorry, but it just isn't worth the risk to tune blindly.
