Just another couple things I've been nitpicking on Adam's old 850...
New motors off of an 850 with 86k, '00 XC headlight arms, and a new check valve for the squirters. Worth the money? Most likely no, never. Looks better than just removing the arms though, I think. Didn't know the 98-00 arms were an upgrade, but they look a little better and have a firmer spring in them.
Replaced the windshield wiper motor and arms with ones off of the 86k car too, at 217k the old one was getting a bit slow, and the original 850 arms were still perfect. (Not bent) I hear the headlight wipers are timed differently so the headlight beams aren't both interrupted at the same time… which hardly makes a difference I'm sure.
The only time these ever really help is when driving in heavy snow/sleet, which rarely happens.
