Here it is. In case you live in a box and didn't figure it out by now. I sold all my cars (the GLT, 99 V70R, and 98 T5M) and picked up a 2004 M66 V70R. I bought it off of Swedespeed, messaged the seller a few hours after it was posted and agreed to purchase it that evening. I flew out to Seattle to pick it up. Flew out to Seattle on a Friday night, the same night that some dick out of Chicago tried to set the city on fire and delayed/cancelled a ton of flights. Spent Saturday and part of Sunday in Seattle and drove home Sunday and Monday. Unfortunately I was sick on Tuesday and didn't make it into work.
Enough of the sexting, here's some more pictures.
In Seattle:
I obviously fit right in. But Seattle was really cool. We did the Market, Pioneer Square and the Space Needle on Saturday and then Bainbridge Island on Sunday. Fit a lot into a day and a half but it was great. Sidenote: holy homeless population.
The first day of driving:
The second day at the Badlands:
Made it home with zero issues. It was an awesome drive, gorgeous the whole way, except Minnesota, that state was stupid and boring. And Wisconsin, who would live there.
The car is amazing to drive. I love it, it's so comfortable, it has great pick up. And I actually like that it's a wagon.
And here we are today. Some pictures and of course the perks and why it was worth going out to Seattle to get. The car has all the service records since it was new and all serviced at the same dealership. It was taken in for every oil change. The previous owner had a butt ton of work done since 93k miles (now at 105K):
-New clutch, slave cylinder, and flywheel resurfaced
-New front struts
-New angle gear
-More software updates than my computers combined
-New DEM
The bonuses:
-IPD HD sway bar links front and rear
-IPD sway bars
-ARD tune
-IPD strut bar conversion
What I did:
-Snabb Intake pipe
-KN filter
-OBX downpipe
-IPD TCV
Don't want you to know my plate numbers
Original owner had the driver seat replaced at the dealership under warranty.
Volvo bluetooth. Really nice.
Volvo subwoofer
And the only reason I'm OK with it being a wagon:
And the fiance's whip.
and the S70 going to California.
