Hi VolvoSpeed family, I just wanted to share what my new winter project will be for me. I just returned to Chicago from living in France for 3 years and wanted to get back into the car scene.
First thing I purchased was KW Variant 2 coil overs , Work M1 rim 18*10 rear 18*9 front, ordered new OEM black top for the convertible , R brake kit , and little by little I'm ordering parts for the C70.
I am going to do a manual conversion and I need help resourcing parts for the conversion and I'm new to the Volvo scene so I'm having problems finding a full manual conversion parts, it will take time.
I just found out my motor is turbo and in the beginning I was planning to do a T5 motor swap but I have GT35R turbo laying around from my previous car I worked on before I left for Paris so I was happy I found out my C70 motor was already turbo. Now I'm looking into building the motor to make it strong enough to run a Gt35 turbo. I would like your thoughts and opinions on what parts would be good to build the motor.
I know the Volvo community in Chicago is small and I like challenges and something different that not a lot of people do, sorry but JDM is in my blood and for the C70 I am going to stance it out and big turbo LoL
