Volvo 242 Project

So i figured id start documenting the project, since i never did with the yellow and I'm kind of regretting it.
 
so here are the details, its a 84' 242 with around 180k on it, completely stock when i got it, and the body is super straight.


next got some IPD parts installed on the car before picking it up. I flew up to Portland last friday and planned to drive it back to SoCal over the weekend, so a tune up was completed as well.

Chuck (Mossback) met me and my buddy at the airport to go pick up the car and we needed a beer shortly after


after picking up the car i posted on Tbricks that i wanted a flathood, and while i was up in Oregon swap was completed to single rounds


So now the trip started. amazing drive down the 1 in Cali. didn't take enough ics by far due to having to hustle back to work, but here are a few

tons of plans for the car, won't be going crazy on the motor, but will be a daily cruiser. wheels have been ordered, and paint/vinyl has been ordered. will update thread over the next few months.
