Well I heard this forum was a little more indepth than Swedespeed so I'll give it a shot. I am Andy and I'm stationed up at Ellsworth AFB, SD. I've worked on B1's for over 4 years now. I have 3 vehicles between me and my wife. First is my 2001.5 Audi S4 with some 18 psi tune and some stage 2 stuff. I bought the car with lots of problems for 6 grand giving me something to work on and use my mechanic degree somehow. I replaced the alternator/coolant resevoir/ 2.0 coil pack upgrade/ serp belt fan delete with electric fan install/ AC delete/ fwd control arm replacement/ and brake pad change/ back window regulators were causing a short making the windows roll down when ever they please. So disconected those and now the car runs awesome. Still got some little stuff to repair, but its good enough to drag race and take to a track event for now.
All the stuff i took off the car.
Got some OZ superlageras with newish tires for 150 bucks so i tried to plasti dip them gun metal but it turned out kind of blue. I will try to put some silver metalizer on it soon to see if i can get it to turn out better.
My 2001 Volvo C70 T5 5 speed( my drive to work and around town car that I love as much as my Audi)
Has some intake on it and I did a muffler delete. Bought the car on base for $4800 with 125k miles and only a Evap leak code so far after 500 miles of driving.
I really want to look into a big turbo/ bottom end build on the Volvo to see how much cheaper it is than a Frankenturbo/ bottom end build on S4.
My wife's 2013 Jetta TDI with DSG
put lowering springs on and put my RS6 wheels on it and I love how it turned out.
