Long time lurker here.. Blew my subaru up and decided that no matter how fun it was to drive it's still uncomfortable as hell. Always wanted an 850 turbo wagon and finally stumbled upon one nearby for $800 so I couldn't resist. Odometer stopped working 2 years ago at 160k but I'm not too worried about it. Guy was the second owner and used it as a family car.. looks like he had the thing maintained religiously. Drove good just has boost/fuel? cut out for a second when I hammered on it. Doesn't seem like anything major so I gave him 800 buck and took it home. Guy was nice enough to throw in a full set of snow tires and rims with it 
I'm not looking to do anything major to it probably gonna start off with some sway bars from IPD and replacing any bad bushings under there and maybe get a good set of struts to go along with it.. From what I understand they come with aroun 190whp stock. I think somewhere around 230-240 would make for a pretty fun wagon(I drive mostly highway). was checkin out the ARD green tune and it seems like that paired with a full exhaust and intake should get me there hopefully. Next few days i'll be doing a full tune up(stage 0 I guess) Spent the past couple days installing my sound system which was first priority for me.. I should have taken more pictures but heres a few.

When I first got it home.. Needed a wash an some turtle wax to bring most the trim back to life lol
Couple of the rear which is a perfect platform to install subwoofers and hide your amps in! Folds right up flush over everything

So anyway I guess I just wanted to start a thread to keep track of my progress even though I don't really plan on any type of crazyness.. I'm really waiting for a nice second gen V70r to come along
